Many people often wonder how to make money on the internet. Simply doing a search in Google for "Making Money on the Internet" will bring up millions of results offering to make you rich with little to no effort. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth. Many sites will sell you information on how to strike it rich, but really you are making them a fortune by buying into their products that will not deliver.
However, there are some legit ways of making extra money on the internet; however they will not provide you with the $15,000 a month like some sites may claim. If you put in some effort though, you will be able to make a nice second income from the internet.
In this article, I will be discussing how to make money using the Amazon.com Associate's program. This program is a large affiliate network that allows you to make a percentage of sales that you generate through Amazon's website. The best part about it is that it does not require you to ship, take orders, or anything else for that matter. All you have to do is get a customer to go through one of your links and make a purchase at Amazon. It may sound easy, but it does requite some effort to get people to your site, and more importantly, to click an Amazon link and purchase something.
The hardest part of all is having a blog or website than generates traffic, especially traffic relating to your category or niche. If you already have this, you are one step closer to generating some money from the internet. The Amazon.com Associates program had a lot of tools once you setup an account and log in. The most important tools are the link creator and the "Astore" features.
The generate links feature allows you to create image links, text links, or a combination of the two. All you have to do is simply select a product and then Amazon will generate the HTML code to paste in a blog entry or on your website. An example of a image and text link can be seen here. Notice the MacBook picture and link box embedded in my review. This is a simple way to allow readers to view the product and give them a chance to purchase it. Not to mention, a 6% commission on a notebook computer is not bad at all. Sell a couple a month and you are on your way.
The other option to sell products through Amazon is by using an Astore. This is my personal favorite because it allows you to go through a step by step tutorial to build your store. You can add product categories and name the store anything you like. You can also change the color and settings to closely resemble the rest of your website or blog. The Astore allows you to add individual products from Amazon.com, as well as whole categories such as computers, books, etc. Once the store is setup, you can leave it on its own page, or imbed it into an existing page using iframes. All of the code is generated automatically by Amazon which makes it a breeze. My personal Astore can be seen by clicking here . Notice it is not exactly like the rest of my site, but overall it matches very well.
I hope this article helps you see the possibilities Amazon.com's Affiliate program can offer. I personally use this program on my own site which was referenced above and I make a good amount of money on the side. Granted it is not enough to say I am rich, it definitely helps for bills and other unwanted expenses. Good luck and remember, the more effort you put in the better the results you will see.

How to Make Money by Having Fun
I am always searching for easy ways to make money online. It is not always easy selling a product to someone, so I look for the no selling type of opportunities online. There are a lot out there, and I am just beginning to find these websites, so always check my profile page.
You don't have to sell anything to anyone. You simply do a task, and wait for the money to come in. I am talking about Social websites that pay you to submit videos, music, ring tones, wallpaper, and write. If you or anyone else you know is doing this for free, tell them to stop immediately because they are losing a lot of money!
If you haven't heard, Google recently stated that YouTube will be sharing the website revenue with their members. High time, isn't it? Well, there are over thirty websites that will pay you for doing something really fun. Some are in an easily affordable report, and others that I've found on my own. Here are some examples of what you will find in this report.
One website pays you $2000 for original flash games
Another website pays you $5 for every 1,000 views your video gets
Yet another website splits the website revenues with you 50/50
You can get paid to post in blogs, paid for your photos, submit news stories. This is really amazing, and the best thing about these sites is that you can generate monster traffic to your website! Tips for creating videos and more is also in the report. I just happened upon this report, doing my daily surfing.
This is not a report that I've ever seen around much until recently. What does this report cost? To get the report is only $7. You can easily make that doing
one article for Associated Content! One of the reasons it is $7 is because it's not really losing money for anyone to start a business online. When I look back on all that I've wasted time doing, I wish that I had found this report "first".
Here are some extra websites that I've found that pay you to submit videos.
EVTV1
www.vidsense.com
EVTV1 provides quality entertainment using video. They are a private company that has been in existence for over 15 years. The technology they use is state of the art, and there is something of interest to everyone on their website. EVTV will pay you to put content on your website through their Videsense program. They match video content to your website and pay you a percent of their revenues from advertising. You're even able to track the traffic and profits from the content that is streamed on your website. This is a no cost program.
Expert Village
www.expertvillage.com
This is a really cool website. There are literally thousands of how-to websites from experts from you to learn from. How do you make money? Well, you can either be an Expert Village Expert, or an Expert Village Filmmaker. To Be an Expert Village Expert, you are required to fill out a form. Their filmmakers have a report where they will see which subjects they can film in their particular area. If the filmmaker is interested, they will contact the expert. Contacting the expert is not guaranteed. To be an Expert Village Filmmaker, you go to the link to sign up.
Once you are there, it says: How To Become A Rich And Successful Filmmaker. Have nice equipment, register and choose the topic, film and get paid. Get paid within a week, make up to $30,000 /year or more! Expert Village guarantees payment for every submission. Their average payment is $300 for each assignment. Some topics that are covered on this website are: Home and Garden, Sports, Hobbies, Crafts, Music and Parenting. If you already have a how-to video, you can email them about how to get it on their website.
Addicting Clips
www.addictingclips.com
Addicting Clips has a Cash For Clips Program that will pay you $500 for clips from your computer or cell phone. To get $500, Addicting Clips chooses a group of people based on viewer comments and their own secret criteria and gives each of them $500, plus they will also put the clip on their other website, Atom Films, for more promotion.
If you want to make money having fun, and with little effort, go to the link below to get your report. No longer do you have to submit videos, photos and more for free. It's time to get paid for it.

How to Make Money Working Online
You can make money working online from home. There are a lot of ways to earn money working online using your computer. Some will charge you for the information to learn how to do this. It's up to you whether you pay for information that someone took the time to research and get together or if you search it out yourself. Some people consider it unethical to pay for information. But one has to wonder if they would work for free and not expect pay for what they do.
Just as a bookstore will charge you for the book you purchase from a bookstore (they don't just give away the books with the information in them), likewise a company or individual will likely charge for information they compile. As the internet has grown by leaps and bounds, there is an abundance of information to be found on just about any topic you can think of. It's mind boggling! Here's where you come in, and how you can make money using the web and your personal PC.
First and foremost, you will need an email address, preferably one with a professional ring to it. You can find free email addresses with AOL.com and Google's Gmail, although with Gmail you still need an invite. Those are fairly easy to get though if you know someone with Gmail who will send you an invite for the free email account. Yahoo.com and MSN's Hotmail.com also offer free email services.
A website to do business online is almost a must have necessity today. While you can do okay without a site, the potential to earn is dramatically increased if you have a website that you can send customers to. GoDaddy.com is one of the best places to register domain names. GoDaddy.com also offers web hosting for your site at a great price. Another good web host company is HostNexus.com. Once your domain is up and running, and your site is build, you can apply to affiliate programs and post their advertisements on your site.
Affiliates are people who promote the products or ads for other people, and get paid a percentage or flat amount per click, per lead, or per sale. Affiliate ads are the online web equivalent of magazine or newspaper advertising. Instead of being in a magazine or newspaper, the ads are on your site and you are getting paid.
Affiliate marketing programs can bring in a lot of money per month for you. Some of the more popular affiliate marketing companies are CJ.com, DirectLeads.com, ClickBank.com, ValueClickMedia.com, ROIRocket.com, FineClicks.com, and FabJobs.com. You should never pay to join an affiliate program! They pay you!
One of the best ways to earn money online is by writing and selling ebooks. Topics for the ebooks can be on anything that you have knowledge about or can research and write on. These can range from recipe ebooks to parenting and childcare, to repairing your home and gardening. The choices you can write about are as endless as what you know and the amount of time you are willing to invest in researching a topic. You can either upload the ebooks to your site for instant download upon purchase or email orders as an attachment.
Another way to make money using the web is to sell products that you either make or buy wholesale. Buying wholesale and reselling gives you a nice profit on popular items such as computers, dvd players, digital cameras, ipods, mp3 players, etc.
Designer items are very popular and can bring in a spectacular amount of money per item. If you make crafts or sew, make jewelry, do woodwork or painting, chances are you can fetch a nice price on something that cost you very little to make or produce. People are always looking for something that not everyone else has. Fads are great and sell, but one of a kind items are rare and more profitable for you.
The best shopping cart is with PayPal.com because it's not only free, it's super easy to use. You simply use their site to make a payment button or link to put on your site, and you have instant payment for products.
These are only a a few money making tips and ideas. Using all or a combination of these ideas, or coming up with more of your own, can lead to a nice paycheck that doesn't take a lot of of effort or your time.

Learn to Manage Money Online
Thanks to the internet, the world is now literally at our fingertips. It is now possible to pay your bills, replenish your wardrobe, complete your Christmas shopping, register for a university, chat with friends in China or Australia, search and apply for a job, request library books, and research everything you ever wanted to know about the pygmy monkey. All before noon and all while still in your pajamas. It is an age like no other, and investing is no exception to this rule. If you can manage the Google search engine, there is a plethora of online websites that can teach you whatever you might wish to know about investing and managing money. The internet is the world's largest library with virtually an unlimited amount of resources on investing and money management and is available right from the comfort of your own home.
While I have no illusions that I have managed to gather every site out there, I have tried to compile a list here of some of the sites out there on the subject to give you an idea of what's available and tips on further places to look for more information.
www.escapefromknab.com is a website aimed at middle school children (though I enjoyed it too!) that teaches about money management through a series of interactive adventures. Similar to the old choose-your-own-adventure novels, the adventurer firsts blasts off to the Planet Knab. Once on Knab, your first task is to find a job. Decision making skills are introduced here as you are allowed to choose from a job that starts at a higher wage of $18 an hour but is known to be slow about giving raises versus another job that starts at $12 an hour but is quicker to reward a good worker with a raise.
I had to test it so I first went with the higher wage. I was then asked to fill out a simple form called the W-4 and could take deductions to have less taxes withheld. I was then shown my gross income and my monthly expenses on the next page and given some choices on how I could reduce them and what that would mean though in terms of my job and convenience. I then went through purchasing a home, choosing a car, investing, and at the end had succeeded in my mission of earning enough money to return to my home planet so apparently I invested wisely. (Now if only I showed that common sense and frugality on this planet!) However, this really is an excellent site. Simple to navigate and truly educates children while keeping it as a fun game so it maintains their interest. I would recommend it to anyone with children between the ages of 5 and 16 since teenagers can certainly benefit from it as well. I may even be returning soon myself.
For adults, of course, there is a multitude of websites on investing offering a variety of approaches. http://www.smartmoney.com offers all the latest headlines of the daily market and how various companies are faring. The site also offers tool for interested parties to set up their own online portfolio, track various stocks and funds each day as well as keep track of personal finances online. Though the sheer amount information available makes the site a bit unwieldy at first, there is a great deal here for those willing to wade through it.
Similar in execution is http://www.bankrate.com Though this site offers slightly less news about the daily market, it makes up for it with an abundance of online calculators for any financial quandary or question imaginable. Home equity calculators, investment calculators, auto calculators, mortgage calculators, cost of living calculators and more, this site gives you a chance to anticipate your future costs and earnings. With a very accessible and user-friendly layout, the site is easy to navigate and is ideal for anyone looking to organize their personal finances. The site also offers helpful advice columns for any questions or concerns you might have such as purchasing a second home versus a rental, debt and divorce, and changes in pension law just to name a few.
For direct focus on the market, http://money.cnn.com/ is the place to go. Run by CNN, the site offers the latest comprehensive news on the stock market and all the current rates. This site also offers the option of managing and organizing personal finances online through their website though a pop-up ad on the side of the site kept distracting me and made my experience at this site less enjoyable and shorter than it might have otherwise been.
For teenagers, young adults or just anyone who wants a refresher course in the basics of managing money well, the government hosts http://www.mymoney.gov/ Laid out in a simple user-friendly format, this site asks simply 'Do you want to learn how to save, invest and manage your money better?' Though I was at first dubious about the credibility of the site considering the source, I was quickly and pleasantly surprised as I began to navigate. The website offers all the basics of money management from knowing how to balance a checkbook to buying your first home, managing credit, starting a business, investing, paying for education for you or your children, and preparing for retirement. Each of the sections also offers a large amount of up-to-date and helpful links so that no matter what you wish to research, there is an abundance of information available. The site also had the distinct advantage of being completely advertisement and pop-up free which anyone who spends any time online can quickly appreciate. I found this one of the most informative and best designed of the online money websites and have bookmarked it to my personal favorites.
In a similar vein is http://www.smartaboutmoney.com, a website run by the non-profit foundation The National Endowment for Financial Education. The National Endowment for Financial Education introduces itself as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to helping all Americans acquire the information and gain the skills necessary to take control of their personal finances. They offer a variety of online courses and tutorials on money management ranging from checking to home buying to protecting yourself from identity theft. Courses are available for teens, adults, and the elderly. The site also has an online assessment quiz to give you an idea of where you are personally and a 'life tree', a graphically designed tree that makes it easy to review and plan for the various expenses at different stages of life.
For small business owners or those contemplating starting their own business,
http://sbinformation.about.com/od/creditloans/ focuses on money management for small business owners beginning with starting a business, securing loans, and finding investors. Those who already have a business underway can also benefit from the site as it gives plenty of tools and information for managing deflation, credit, and straightforward advice on to run a successful business of your own and avoid common pitfalls.
http://www.practicalmoneyskills.com/index.php offers financial help for the whole family. A comprehensive site that has sections just for children, for teens, for adults and for small business owners. Educators and parents may also request free teaching materials. In addition to a vast amount of straightforward articles about money management, the site also offers a variety of games for learning to manage money such as Financial Football, Smart Money Quiz Show and Cash Puzzler just to name a few. This is one of the most comprehensive and easily navigated sites on the web. In addition to news articles, the site also offers many tutorials, personal budget planners, and free learning materials.
For those approaching retirement or already there, the AARP website http://www.aarp.org/money/revmort/ offers a site exclusively aimed at the financial concerns of retirees (and also includes the option to increase text size on the home page!) With an excellent graphic layout, the site is user-friendly and offers a wide array of articles on financial planning, social security, home mortgaging, credit and debt, how to choose a good lender, shop online safely, pros and cons of annuities, and more. Highly recommended for any senior approaching retirement.
And last but not least, for those who are interested primarily in investing and investing online, there is http://www.investingonline.org/. This site is aimed exclusively at investors and those who wish to invest online. For those just getting started it explores the things you need to know to safely invest online, how to find a good online broker, and the facts about after hours day trading plus numerous links to more information. It also offers a simulator to practice with so you can see what investing online is like and how it works.
These are just ten of the sites available out there, but no matter what your interests are, it's safe to say that somewhere on the web is a site with the information you need!

How to Recognize a Scam or Over Hyped Online Money Scheme
First off you should know that most of the online opportunities are scams, or at least over hyped. One of the first signs that should ring a bell is when you see an advertisement like “Make $10,000 a month working only a few hours a week!” It is a catchy phrase, and I mean, who wouldn’t want to make $10,000 a month? However, the reality of this scheme is quit the opposite.
There are several different types of businesses that offer this type of promise; a lot of them are Data Entry jobs. With Data Entry jobs you will pay for access to a site that provides a list of companies which give you affiliate links to their site. You then go and post ads trying to convince people to purchase things off of your affiliate link. If they do you will get a certain percentage of whatever that individual buys. While this type of business is not a scam, it is definitely over hyped. A lot of companies have you pay to get access to the website with the list of companies, but in all reality if you go directly to the company list site you can become a member for FREE! The reason you pay is because they also give you steps on how to post ads and what to type in those ads. However, they also spam you with e-mails and other money making opportunities to try and get you to buy! With all that said here is my take on the data entry jobs. You will not make a lot of money, and most of the information they provide is not worth the cost spent to pay for it!! The reason is because there are a lot of people who have bought into these schemes, which makes it hard to get someone to purchase anything from your affiliated links without putting a lot of money into Google, Yahoo, etc.
This was just one example of the many different types of online opportunities that do nothing more than waste your time and money. Other opportunities to watch out for include; envelope stuffing, toy building, medication selling, etc. The list goes on and on. So, I am sure you are now wondering if there is even a possibility of making money online. Well, there is!! But first let me give you some information on spotting possible scam/over hyped business opportunities. I have compiled a list to help:
1) Do plenty of research. Do not just read an ad and purchase right away.
2) Do a Who IS search on the website. The reason is that a lot of these sites are new and only register their domain for a year, which usually means they are not in this for the long haul, but rather to try and con people into purchasing a useless scheme. Also, check the person registered along with the address and phone number. Make sure you see nothing suspicious. However, a lot of people put in false information, so if you check an address or phone number and you can’t find it, more than likely the person put in false information.
3) Do Check the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to see if the business is registered and what reputation it shows. Note: Not all websites will have a BBB record.
4) Do Find forums like scam.com to talk to others who might have already tried the program you are looking at.
Note: Be cautious of opportunities sent by e-mail, as most of them are scams!! Also, I recommend not doing anything that requires you to give out your personal information or requires you to transfer/accept money from a Wire Transfer!!
Hopefully this information will help you in determining which programs are real or not. Usually if a site promises to make you tons of money for just a little amount of your time they are just trying to get your money. Also, in my opinion, you shouldn’t have to pay someone to work for them!!! I know that if you start your own business you will have to fork out some cash to get it started, but if you are about to work for someone you shouldn’t have to pay them, because they should be paying you!! Also, a good saying to hold on too when searching for an online job is, “If it seems too good to be true then it probably is!”
Here is a list of jobs that I have known people to make money with. They are not rich but if you are looking to make a little extra money then, if done right, these will work.
1) Paid Surveys (However, do not PAY to complete the surveys, because there are plenty of free survey sites out there)
2) Writing Articles (Again, do not pay a site to write for them, because since you are working for them they should pay you)
3) Start a website or blog (If there is something you love to talk about then start up a website on it and then use Google ad sense to help bring money to your site)
These are just a few of the legit opportunities out there. Again, I highly recommend going to forums and talking to people who have already been in your shoes. Just be very cautious when looking to make money online, because unfortunately there are a lot of people on the internet that just want your money. Good Luck!!

How to Make Money Online : PTC & PTR
Do PTC (Pay to Click) Sites pay me out?
PTC sites provide a service that helps business owners promote their WebPages, and they pay you a small amount to view those ads. All of them have referrals programs you can get more people to join the site and increase your revenue, the earnings from referral programs can go between 10 to 50% depending on the site. You can subscribe to the one of your preference, since this is something you can do while doing other task online.
Writing Review sites?
These types of sites pay you to write about products and services you and others use. Is like giving your opinion so other make up their minds and buy certain products. Some of them pay you right away, and if you think is not fair enough, you can decide to leave you review published in the site for ever, so people would vote for you and the money you'll make will depend on how many views and votes you get. The process is slow and takes some time for you to make a decent pay, and you have to give up you writing credits also. So it's up to you to decide, less money now, or more money? If you if you want to make more, to publish many articles and reviews for it will increase your views possibilities. Make sure to share you article links into your blogs, profiles, and social networks.
How about getting pay to Complete Task sites?
Sometimes you've got to be ware of those sites, some of them pay you some money for filling applications and to join websites using a valid email, other pay you to play online games, the ones I've never trusted, those that pay you for downloading and trying software! Why don't I trust them? Simply because they are filled with spyware that gathers info from your computer and in
stall suspicious applications that are almost impossible to uninstall from your PC! So be ware of those tasks!! If you still like other offer from the site, skip those dangerous ones.
Getting pay to complete Surveys:
I have nothing against those sites, at least not now. One important thing you should keep in mine before singing up in any of them is to check the certification BBB logo on their main page, and also the Hacker Proof logo that guaranties that your info won't be used by any other suspicious hostess but the ones allowed in the site. These sites ask you some information about yourself, products you use, and other info you can choose to share with them so they could send you the proper surveys, remember to answer consciously, that would help them determine which surveys and suitable for you.
Do I get paid to Post?
Yes you do! Those are my favorite sites and the ones I recommend the most since is less stressing, how ever, they demand more of your online time but still you can do it while clicking adds. I think posting is the most fun way to earn money online! Those sites pay you for chatting, talking, posting, making blogs, answering, helping others, uploading photos, getting referrals and just for being there! Fun, Fun, Fun! And the best part, they do PAY!
Getting Pay to Search:
Some sites pay you for each time you use their search engines to get to find anything you need. Many use major search engines like Yahoo and Google. So you won't miss at all searching the traditional way. Just set them as you initial page and you're done! Make sure to make valid searches, since due to recent Scams attends; they have tightened the security and send you fault e-mails. Don't get scared if you get one, it happens to us all.
You can check out some good money making sites, and see what you can do with them, once you get the ideas you'll come up with many other making money sites along the way. Remember to try them before you discredit any!
Important things you should keep in mind:
Always check for references before you join a site, like getting payment proofs using search engines, reading comments other users have made about the site, and always remember to never, never, EVER listen to only one source opinion, since thee are many people out there trying to sell you their sites and referrals, buy saying this or that is a good one.
If after reading others experiences, you still decide to join, you are free to see for yourself and form you own opinion of the site which is a wise thing to do. Some unsatisfied used, discredit a webpage, just because they didn't like it or because they were kicked out for doing something bad.
Don't forget to check if the is site international friendly (if applicable to you), many of those sites don't take international users. Another tip is to check the payment method...some sites use Paypal to pay you out, but there are also other services like Alertpay, Moneybookers, etc. If you don't have and account on any of those sites, you can get one for free, but you will need either a bank account or a credit card to certify your account. (That means you'll need any of those so you can withdraw the payment from your virtual account).
No site takes unverified accounts!! But don't worry, if you don't have any credit card, you can register a friend or a family member that does, at least you'll get a verify account until you get your own and they won't charge anything unless you sign up for a business account to take Credit Card payment and that'll cost only US$1.95 deducted from the Credit Card you registered, that account will allow you to accept credit card payments from anyone.
None of the making money sites will ever ask you for your account details, they will only ask you the E-mail you signed up with on Paypal or other virtual account service you've chosen, and they will pay you only using that...Be ware of SCAM, nobody will ever ask you to login or send you any email links for you to enter your login information. If you need anymore help, about security, checking your balance info o r about getting a virtual account, check their WebPages and learn more about the services they offer.

How to Make Money Online - Beginners Guide
There are hundreds of ways of person can earn money through the internet, but too a beginner it may be a little confusing. Whether you want to make a few extra bucks or whether you want to generate a comfortable income there are ways. Here are some things you can do to make money online right now.
1 - Affiliate Programs. The very first thing you should to do is sign up with 1 or two affiliate programs. Such as Clickbank and Commission Junction. As an affiliate you will be promoting other peoples products online and you will receive a set commission (usually around $14-$25). You will then need to find ways of driving traffic to your affiliate pages. If you can get enough people to the sales page then you will get a sale.
Usually for every 200 people that see the page, 1 of them will buy. So as an estimate for every 1000 people you refer to the page 5 of them will buy, and if your making $20 commission then thats $100. There are many different ways you can drive traffic to your affiliate page. Here are some ideas,
2 - Bum marketing is essentially a form of "niche marketing". The theory revolves around search engine optimization (ranking high in google) for articles that include your affiliate link. What you would do is research keywords on Wordtracker that get a decent amount of searches per day, but that don't have that many results (under 50,000 when using quotes). After this you would head over to Clickbank and find a product to sell that matches the key phrase / niche. Make sure the product is appealing to your audience.
Then you would write a short 400-600 word article and include the keyword or key-phrase in your title and a few random times through out the body. You would also include a link to your affiliate product at the end of the article. If you submit it to popular article sites like GoArticles then there is a good chance that Google will index the your article and include it within the top results for the key-phrase you selected. Once this happens people will click on your article through Google and hopefully some of them will click on your affiliate link and buy your product.
3 - Blogging. If you've been on the internet for any short length of time then chances are you know what a blog is. Blogging can be a great way of generating income and a great way to sell affiliate products. There are many different ways of earning money through blogging, and affiliate sales are only one of them. This method takes a little longer than the "Bum Marketing" method, but it pays off nicely over time.
All you have to do is pick a topic that your interested and start writing about it. Its a good idea to get your own domain as that looks more professional, but you can also use free sites likes Wordpress and Blogger. Once you have a topic (Such as celebrities, horses, cars, etc) all you have to do is start writing away! Once the search engines index your site you should start receiving visitors. In order to make money at this you would need to promote affiliate products in some of the articles you right. You can also set up Google Adsense which pays your every time someone clicks a link.
